The Master Oxidant

With the overwhelming scientific proof and documented research available today, the scientific and medical community agree that glutathione is the master antioxidant of the body.

This tri-peptide is found in virtually every cell within the human body, which explains why so many disease states are associated with low glutathione levels.

Some of these include but are not limited to; ADD, Addison’s Disease, aging, AIDS, Alopecia Areata, ALS, Alzheimer’s Disease, anemia (hemolytic) Ankylosing Spondylitis, Arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), arthritis (rheumatoid), asthma, autism, autoimmune disease, behcet’s Disease, burns, cacexia, Cancer, candida infection, cardiomyopathy (idiopathic), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, colitis, coronary artery disease, cystic fibrosis, diabetes, Crohn’s disease, eczema, emphysema, Epstein-Barr Viral syndrome, fibromyalgia, free radical overload, Goodpasture syndrome, Graves’ Disease, hepatic dysfunction (liver disease), hepatitis B and hepatitis C, hypercholesterolemia (high blood cholesterol), herpes, infections (viral, bacterial and fungal), inflammatory bowel disease, lupus, macular degeneration (diabetic macular degeneration), malnutrition, Meniere’s disease, multiple sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, neurodegenerative diseases, nutritional disorders, Parkinson’s disease, Pemphigus Vulgaris, Primary Beleary Cirrhosis, progeria, psoriasis, Rheumatic Fever, Sarcoidosis, scleroderma, shingles, stroke, surgery, toxic poisoning, trauma, vasculitis, vitiligo and Wegener’s granulomatosis.

Glutathione is called the master antioxidant because it serves so many functions in our bodies. It works synergistically with Vitamins C and E, enhancing their function by accepting free radicals from them and recharging them to get back to the battle.

This means that if glutathione levels are low the other antioxidants aren’t as efficient. Glutathione will also neutralize free radicals on its own but most importantly glutathione acts as a detoxicant.

There are at least 12 carcinogens that have been identified as being susceptible to attack from glutathione. When glutathione does this job it bonds with the toxin, and then it leaves the cell to be eliminated in the bile or urine.

For this glutathione to be replaced, more glutathione must be synthesized by the cell. If it is not able to do so, the cell is glutathione deficient and none of the things needed to be done by glutathione get done.

This means that lipid peroxidation goes wild, other toxins can attack the cell, radiation damage is not repaired, and there is no regulation of antioxidant activity or DNA replication. In other words it’s an illness waiting to happen.

It is probably here, in the detoxification process, that we slowly lose glutathione with age. Over the years, the accumulation of toxins in air and water pollutants, processed foods and chemical exposure takes its toll on the amount of available glutathione.

Glutathione’s importance to the immune system cannot be overestimated. The ability of lymphocytes to deal with oxidative damage can be measured directly by determing the ability of these cells to replenish their supplies of glutathione.

This is especially true in the production of helper-lymphocytes CD4 and CD8 T cells. These cells are especially targeted by the AIDS virus, and a low CD4 count usually means that the disease is winning the battle.

However, research at Stanford University now suggests that raising the glutathione level in patients extends their lives, even if their CD4 count is low. In addition, glutathione inhibits the replication of the HIV virus itself.

What are free radicals and how do they cause damage?

Free radicals or oxidative stress are the negative byproduct created when the body produces energy or reacts to pollutions, example; Chemicals- including but not limited to pesticides, herbicides, car exhaust, cigarettes, glues, paints, solvents, household cleansers, industrial air pollution, municipal water that is chlorinated and fluoridated, heavy metals exist in our air, water and soil, radiation from computers, televisions and sunlight, our food is grown with chemical sprays and then processed with more chemicals, waxes, nitrates, colours and preservatives.

According to Sam Graci, author of ‘The power of Superfoods’, over 100,000 xenobiotics (foreign chemicals) are in use today.

Infectious; Viruses, bacteria, fungus and molds, eg. pneumonia, lupus, candidiasis, Epstein-Barr etc. Emotional; family disagreements, financial problems, job pressures, traffic stress, illness and death Physical; trauma, injury (cuts, burns, broken bones etc.)

With all this “stress” the body has to deal with on a daily basis it can become overwhelmed and tired. Over time it can no longer compensate without help, resulting in illness or disease.

Free radicals cause damage to the cells one at a time. They can tear a little hole in the cell wall causing a rupture or leak, resulting in the cell to die prematurely.

They can attack the genetic material that a cell uses to reproduce itself or damage the DNA itself (now seen as the leading mechanisms for cancer growth). Free radicals can disrupt the mitochondria of the cell (the cells energy source) and the cell does not have the energy to work.

As cells with low energy accumulate, you eventually have a whole body that is low on energy, tired all the time and more vulnerable to disease.

There are little packets of enzymes inside each cell called lysosomes. These enzymes are designed to eat through anything except the membrane that contains them. When their membrane is ruptured by free radicals, those enzymes proceed to eat through that cell, and the one next to it, and the one after that etc. As time goes on this damage keeps accumulating.

As our immune system gets weaker, the damage even speeds up. There’s more, but you get the general idea of free radical (oxidative stress) damage.

Most degenerative diseases and even aging are linked to free-radical damage. More than 80 age related diseases can be alleviated by antioxidants that neutralize oxidant particles.

Science has proven that these diseases we attribute with aging really have little to do with time, but are directly related to the accumulation of free radical damage in the cells of your body.

What is more important however is that the rate of free radical damage can be changed, slowed down and even reversed.

The Best Health Defense is Cell Defense!

When we speak of the immune system we think of the body as a whole. Illness or disease is usually associated with a lowered or compromised immune system. Wherever there is a burden or weakness in the body, illness manifests there first.
What most of us tend to overlook is the immune systems of each and every individual cell within us. Whether it be a cell of the blood, bones, organs, lymph or even the skin every cell wants to keep itself healthy.

In order to do this it has to be able to protect itself from harm caused by what scientists have termed oxidative stress or free radical damage. Imagine your overall health if each individual cell is healthy and functioning at its best.

What is IMMUNOCAL

IMMUNOCAL is a Whey protein (milk derivitive) supplement that restores the Glutathione levels in your body.
Glutathione is one of the body's most powerful anti-oxidants.

Originally researched by IMMUNOTEC Research, and developed as a PREVENTATIVE treatment for cancer and Aids,
it was sponsored by the Canadian / USA governments with over $10 million invested. It has 8 International patents,
including a recent Canadian patent for use as a Cancer Preventative.
Immunocal is clinically proven to safely raise and sustain human intracellular glutathione.
IMMUNOCAL works to help support the normal functioning of the Immune system by helping to maintain effective levels of glutathione in the lymphocytes. destined to become the #1 Nutritional Supplement of Choice Worldwide, Immunocal is the culmination of 20 years of research at the world renowned McGill University, in conjunction with the Montreal General Hospital, by Dr Gustavo Bounous M.D. and his research team.

HMS90 is a patented,
highly concentrated whey protein isolate,
that is rich in cyctine.
Which Improves the quality of your life.

What is the difference between Immunocal and other whey proteins?

. Immunocal has been clinically proven to differ from other whey proteins in its effect on the immune system. Specifically, scientific studies on other whey proteins have not shown the same immune stimulating effects that are seen with Immunocal.

There is over 18 years of research through rigorous clinical trials, which have been published in peer review journals. These studies, performed around the world in renowned medical and scientific institutions attest to the efficacy of Immunocal.

The famous Louis Pasteur Institute for Research puts out a book every year, which goes to all the major medical schools in Europe, Canada and the USA. Chapter 42 of this book is entirely devoted to a discussion of Immunocal.

The chapter heading is entitled “Nutriceutical Modulation of Glutathione with a Humanized Native Serum Protein Isolate.

Immunocal; application in Cancer and Aids”.
The superiority in Immunocal lies in its bio-active ingredients. There are concentrations of 3 bioactive and thermolabile (easily damaged by heat) proteins that are contained in Immunocal.

Because these compounds can be damaged by heat or excessive mechanical agitation, Immunocal must not be cooked, heated or placed in a steel bladed blender.

It is for these reasons that Immunocal has not been exposed to standard high heat pasteurization. Rather it has been bio-filtered to remove bacteria, and subjected to patent-process low temperature purification procedures to ensure its safety and purity.

Although there are dozens of companies producing denatured (high-heat pasteurization) whey proteins, primarily used as a protein source in body-building, there is currently no company manufacturing an undenatured whey protein product similar to Immunocal.

No other whey protein can make the same claims that Immunocal through its method of use patents can. Example; “clinically PROVEN to stimulate the immune system” and “significantly raises glutathione levels” Over 300 clinical studies and medical reviews appear in the clinical literature which specifically involved Immunocal and not other whey proteins.

We all are at risk of developing osteoporosis.
What can we do to REDUCE THIS RISK
Most adults don’t get enough calcium, vitamin D and other minerals to prevent bone loss.

… Osteoporosis affects an estimated 75 million in Europe Japan and the U.S.
…Osteopenia (the condition just prior to osteoporosis) affects even a larger population.
…Over 75% of Americans don’t get enough calcium and every year Osteoporosis is
+++ responsible for 1.5 million bone fractures (in the U.S. alone)

Calcium deficiency has been identified as a global public health problem and can also lead to other health conditions
Calcium supplementation alone without Vitamin D and other minerals is often insufficient and may even lead to other problems.
